However, an estimated 99% of all transactions made at ticket offices last year could be made at TVMs or online.</p><p>The rail industry is looking to expand digital ticketing options and make them even easier for passengers to use through upgrades to ticket vending machines and digitisation of more tickets and processes.</p><p> </p><p>When proposing major changes to ticket office opening hours, including closures, operators are required to take into account the adequacy of the proposed alternatives in relation to the needs of all passengers. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/07/2023 answer text <p>Pinnacle have completed the implementation of the Rectification Plan and are at or above the minimum Acceptable Level of Performance (ALP) in all areas where they have sole responsibility for delivery.</p><p>Performance has improved for both VIVO and Amey in the key areas of response maintenance timeframes and reducing the backlog of maintenance tasks, since the rectification plans were implemented in September 2022. However, there is still more work to do before VIVO and Amey are consistently at the ALP.</p><p>The Department has set out an expectation that suppliers must demonstrate they can sustain performance at or above the ALP before the rectification plans will be considered to have succeeded.
