answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2021 answer text <p>UK Defence routinely charters aircraft from charter airlines globally to meet defence needs.</p><p>In the period in question no money was paid to national governments for the provision by them of air charter services.</p><p> </p><p>However, the UK is part of the Movements Co-ordination Centre Europe (MCCE), a multinational organisation that facilitates the exchanges of excess Air Mobility capacity. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/11/2021 answer text <p>Section 13 of the Coroners Act 1988 permits an application to be made to the High Court for either an order for a fresh inquest into a death, or an order to hold an inquest if one has not already been held. An application under section 13 cannot be brought unless the Attorney General’s authority – referred to as her ‘fiat’ – has been obtained. Once the Attorney General has granted or refused her fiat, the Attorney General’s Office does not usually have any further role in the process.</p><p> </p><p>An applicant has six weeks from the grant of the Attorney General’s fiat to make an application to the High Court. This includes protecting personnel from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke and supporting those personnel who want to give up smoking. As at 1 April 2020, 18% of the Armed Forces were recorded as smokers; although smoking prevalence is falling, it is still higher than the UK population of 14.1%.</p><p>Officials in the Ministry of Defence routinely consult with colleagues in the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to ensure that Defence health and wellbeing policies are consistent with DHSC policies. Whilst the Air Mobility Force operated at surge for a period of weeks, it was able to meet all of the operational tasks asked of it.
