answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/02/2020 answer text <p>The number (headcount) of doctors (excluding locums), direct patient care practitioners and nurses in general practice who worked full time and part time according to their weekly contracted hours in general practices in NHS Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), North East and Yorkshire NHS region and England on 30 September 2018 and 2019 is attached. NHS Sunderland CCG includes Houghton and Sunderland South constituency but does not map directly to the borders. North East and Yorkshire NHS region was formed in April 2019 therefore no data exists for this region prior to this date. The data is divided by those who are contracted to work 15 hours or less, more than 15 but less than 37.5 hours, and more than 37.5 hours per week. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/01/2020 answer text <p>The UK remains deeply concerned by the conditions faced by migrants and refugees in Libyan detention centres. We continue to urge the Libyan authorities to pursue alternatives to detention and implement a better functioning migration system that respects human rights. The UK supports the UN's call for detention centres across Libya to be closed, and for the migrants and refugees within them to be evacuated to safety.</p><p>We have repeatedly called for urgent humanitarian access for the UN and international humanitarian actors, and for all parties to adhere to International Humanitarian Law. The UK provided £1 million to the 2019 UN Flash Appeal, and was the first country to respond to the appeal. In April 2019, the UN released $2 million from the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) to provide life-saving assistance to civilians caught up in the escalating fighting in Libya, including vulnerable migrants and refugees. The UK was the biggest donor to the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) in 2018, providing £<del class="ministerial">114.3</del> <ins class="ministerial">89 </ins>million. As part of our current £75 million migration programme along the Central Mediterranean Route, we have allocated up to £5 million to humanitarian assistance and protection for migrants and refugees in Libya, including targeted healthcare provision.</p><p>These efforts form part of the UK's comprehensive, 'whole-of-route' approach to protecting migrants and refugees who are travelling along the Central Mediterranean Route. This includes humanitarian assistance and protection for migrants and refugees, cracking down on people smuggling, supporting assisted voluntary returns and working intensively to end the conflict in Libya. To this end, the Prime Minister attended the Berlin Conference on 19 January, where attendees agreed to support the current ceasefire and UN-led political talks, and pledged to respect the UN arms embargo. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/01/2020 answer text <p>The accommodation status for all offenders released from custody, including those under National Probation Service (NPS), Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) supervision, and offenders on community sentences, has been published since July 2018. <ins class="ministerial">The latest publication can be found at: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/community-performance-quarterly-update-to-march-2019" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/community-performance-quarterly-update-to-march-2019</a>. </ins>The relevant table of data from this publication is attached for reference.</p><p> </p><p>It is vital that everyone leaving prison has somewhere safe and secure to live, as a platform to access the services and support needed to make a fresh start. We have invested an additional £22 million per annum over the remaining life of the Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) contracts to deliver an enhanced “Through-the-Gate” resettlement service to offenders leaving prison, to prepare them for release. Through the Government’s Rough Sleeping Strategy, we are also investing up to £6.4m in a pilot scheme to support individuals released from three prisons: Bristol, Leeds and Pentonville. Services have now commenced in all three areas, with the first individuals now being supported into accommodation following release. Subject to evaluation, we will use the lessons from the pilot to inform future provision of accommodation for all ex-offenders. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/07/2016 answer text <p>The main streams of funds available to UK universities and research bodies are Horizon 2020, Erasmus Plus and aspects of the European Structural and Investment Funds.</p><p>Under Horizon 2020, the current Framework Programme, the UK has been awarded €1.84bn to date[1] (excluding the Euratom nuclear research and training programme).</p><p>In 2014, the first year of the Erasmus Plus Programme, the UK obtained €79.08 million for mobility grants to 36,734 people from all educational sectors to study, train and volunteer abroad. A further €30.66m was obtained for cooperation projects<sup>[2]</sup>.</p><p>The UK’s strategy<sup>[3]</sup> for its 2014-2020 allocations from the European Structural and Investment Funds sets out that €1.6bn was earmarked for the theme of research, technological development and innovation.</p><p>As the Prime Minister has made clear, while the UK remains a member of the EU, current EU funding arrangements continue unchanged, including those that apply to students, researchers, and businesses. It will be for the Government under the new Prime Minister to begin the negotiation to leave, and set out arrangements for those currently in receipt of EU funds.</p><p> </p><p>The UK economy is fundamentally strong and our research and innovation are world leading.
