The UK welcomed the UN declaration which more accurately reflected the severity of the situation on the ground and brought much needed attention and resources from across the UN system to respond to the crisis.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK has been closely monitoring the situation and has committed a total of £18 million in humanitarian funding to CAR in 2014 to help hundreds of thousands of people, along with £7 million in Cameroon and Chad to assist CAR refugees. The funds are going towards the protection of civilians, urgent medical assistance, and to food security and livelihoods assistance through UN agencies, the Red Cross and NGOs. In 2014, the UK is the third largest bilateral humanitarian donor to CAR after the USA (£87 million) and the EU (£39 million). The Committee considers all names that have been proposed, formally and informally, and presents its recommendations to the Navy Board. The name(s) chosen by the Navy Board are forwarded to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence before being submitted to Her Majesty the Queen for approval. A final decision with regards to this process in respect of the Type 26 Global Combat Ship is not expected until the programme has completed its Assessment Phase and any subsequent investment decisions are complete. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/11/2014 answer text <p>Civilian Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations are closely regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority and are treated in the same manner as that of an equivalent manned aircraft. This is reflected in the contract for the running of HMP Altcourse.</p><p> </p><p>The prison operator is finalising an action plan in response to H M Inspectorate of Prisons’ recommendations. As of 30 September 2014 the Scheme had received 173 applications. During the first year of operation we had forecasted around 900 applications to the Scheme.</p><p> </p><p>The DMPS is funded by a levy on the insurance industry. The levy is intended to cover the cost of the Scheme in any one year, and we are not expecting to generate any under spend. In addition our planning guidance makes clear that the need for renewable energy does not automatically override environmental protection and the planning concerns of local communities.</p><p> </p><p>Under the National Planning Policy Framework Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty have the highest status of protection in relation to landscape and scenic beauty. Strong planning protection also applies to Sites of Special Scientific Interest. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/10/2014 answer text <p /> <p>The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) charged Penal Reform International £1,000 for running a full day visit to HMP Grendon in June 2014, involving ten Indian Prison Officers, two Indian Training Academy officials and one Penal Reform International representative. The charge covered the costs of NOMS staff screening and arranging the visit and HMP Grendon’s staff costs for escorting and providing refreshments for the thirteen delegates.</p><p> </p><p>Most of the international visits to prisons that NOMS arranges are at the request of other governments and are not charged.
