answer text <p>The Office for Veterans’ Affairs have and will continue to engage with Stoll regarding the sale of Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions and the support being provided to residents during the transition period.</p><p>I am committed to ensuring that no veteran is sleeping rough due to a lack of provision, which is why the Government has dedicated nearly £30 million towards the provision of veteran housing.</p><p>This includes the single referral pathway for homeless veterans, Op FORTITUDE, that received £500,000 of funding, which is part of a broader £8.55 million of funding for specialist help and wrap-around support for veterans in more than 900 supported housing units.</p><p>This Government remains committed to making the UK the best place in the world to be a veteran.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The £122 million contract with Airbus Helicopters UK for six Airbus H145 helicopters to provide aviation support to Defence outputs in Brunei and Cyprus encompasses the procurement of the aircraft, an initial three-year support plan, and includes the expenses required to establish the capability in each overseas location.</p><p>Support beyond the first three years is subject to a separate project which will include determining the nature of the procurement strategy for the future support solution.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK has made an ambitious and generous commitment to resettle Afghans fleeing persecution and those who served the UK.</p><p>The latest published <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/immigration-system-statistics-year-ending-december-2023" target="_blank">Immigration system statistics, year ending December 2023 - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)</a> show that (up to the end of December 2023) we have brought around 27,900 people to safety from Afghanistan and the region.</p><p>These statistics also show that:</p><ul><li>We have resettled 10,520 people under all three of the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS) pathways;</li><li>We have relocated 14,423 under the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP); and</li></ul><ul><li>125 people, around half of whom are children, were living in interim accommodation (i.e. hotels/serviced accommodation) at the end of December 2023.</li></ul><p>Afghan operational data is viewable at <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/afghan-resettlement-programme-operational-data/afghan-resettlement-programme-operational-data" target="_blank">Afghan Resettlement Programme: operational data - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)</a>.</p>
