answer text <p>The number of applications to the panel has been small. The low number means that there is a significant risk that disclosure of even aggregate information about the applications could be linked to personal details (made available through media reporting). For this reason, in accordance with the Home Office’s duty to protect these individuals, neither the actual number of applications nor the number approved can be disclosed.</p><p>As of 11 September 2018 there have been forty four inquiries to the expert panel mailbox from members of the public.</p><p>There are currently eight members of the Expert Panel.</p><p>The Expert Panel have met six times since its establishment.</p> more like this
