answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/04/2023 answer text <p>Model Senior Responsible Owners (mSROs) are responsible for ensuring the quality and suitability of Business-Critical Models used for analysis, investigation, and forecasting purposes within Defence Equipment and Support (DE&amp;S) against prescribed policy and requirements. As outlined in the DE&amp;S Annual Report and Accounts 2021-2022, six projects were assessed as complying with these requirements but with minor deviations relating mainly to the mSRO.</p><p>Five of these instances arose from the omission of the role and its responsibilities from annual objectives for mSROs and of these, four additionally related to failures to complete the relevant training during the year. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/04/2023 answer text <p>Senior Responsible Owners (SROs) of our Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP) programmes are carefully selected and assessed for suitability prior to appointment. This includes consideration of prior experience as well as any formal qualifications held.</p><p>Three current GMPP SROs were appointed based on experience alone but have since undertaken or are undertaking formal training.</p><p>SROs of GMPP programmes are prioritised by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority for Major Projects Leadership Academy (MPLA) places. The Department's Government Major Projects Portfolio SROs are at civilian grades SCS1 and SCS2 and military ranks OF5, OF6 and OF7. This includes decisions on whether to commission locally enhanced services from primary eye care providers, such as minor eye conditions services. NHS England’s transformation programme is also considering how eye care services could be commissioned for the future, this includes considering a greater role for primary eye care providers.</p><p>In the Autumn Statement, the Department committed to an additional £3.3 billion per year until 2024/25 to respond to significant pressures facing the National Health Service. NHS England has appointed Louisa Wickham as a national clinical director for eyecare to oversee the recovery of eye care services and longer-term transformation. The appointment of Senior Responsible Owners for non-GMPP projects is delegated to Front Line Commands and Enabling Organisations. The position changes frequently as projects are initiated and closed, and a central list is not maintained.
