answer text <p>The capital cost of building the National Flagship will fall to the defence budget as part of the Government's wider commitment to the UK shipbuilding industry. The through-life costs will be addressed at the next Spending Review. The build cost is expected to be about 0.1% of the defence budget over the next four years and will be brought into our spending plans in the 2022 annual budget cycle.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Over the course of Operations HERRICK (2002 - 2014) and TELIC (2003 - 2011) the British Army continuously trained and prepared a series of Brigade level deployments, including full Mission Rehearsal Exercises on an enduring six monthly rotational basis.</p><p>The British Army has also regularly conducted collective training at Brigade level over the years including most recently Exercise SAIF SAREEA 3 in Oman in 2018.</p><p>There are a series of planned exercises that focus on Brigade level and above training, including 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team deploying on Ex SWIFT RESPONSE in 2022 and the deployment of elements on Ex CERBERUS 22. Furthermore, the British Army regularly participates in the DEFENDER series, a US led multinational exercise in Europe, at the Brigade level.</p> more like this

answer text <p>At this moment in time there is currently not a planned Divisional Exercise deployment. However the Army has a substantial and sophisticated exercise programme in place to ensure that it is trained and ready to operate at the divisional level. This includes training with Allies and partners.</p><p>The UK recently took part in Exercise WARFIGHTER a US led exercise (Mar- Apr 21), which saw HQ 3 (UK) Division deploy to Fort Hood, Texas as part of III (US) Corp.</p><p>The last time a full Army Division deployed for training purposes was Exercise White Rhino, which took place in West Germany in September 1989.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The in-service headset used during trials of Ajax Armoured Fighting Vehicles is also in use on other armoured vehicle platforms including Warrior, all variants of Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked), AS90, Bulldog, Terrier, Viking, Multiple Launch Rocket System, Beach Recovery Vehicle, Titan, Trojan and FUCHS platforms.</p><p> </p><p>As part of ongoing investigations into headsets used on all in-service armoured vehicles, a Safety Panel has taken the precautionary measure to limit the time crews may operate Warrior and Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) platforms pending further investigation.</p><p> </p> more like this
