answer text <ul><li><p>We recognise that the live events industry and its supply chain has been severely impacted by Covid-19. The ministerially-chaired Events and Entertainment Working Group ensures we understand the issues facing all our Creative Industries sectors and that we are helping them as effectively as possible. The membership of the Working Group includes live events industry trade bodies such as the Production Services Association, the Music Venue Trust, the Concert Promoters Association and the National Arenas Association.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>In addition, officials are in regular contact with live events industry stakeholders, ensuring that the needs of the industry are fully understood.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>We will continue to work with the representatives of the live events industry to understand the difficulties the different parts of the sector faces and support the industry through these challenging times.</p></li></ul><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The responsibility for equalities impact assessments lies with departments, who take this responsibility very seriously. Impact assessments are kept under review and my colleagues are fully aware of their equality duties.</p><p>In this particular instance, the Department for Work and Pensions published a consultation Health is everyone’s business in July 2019 in which they sought views on the rate of statutory sick pay. There are different respite care provisions to suit different needs, including short stays in care homes. answer text <p>Blood cancer patients have a higher chance of severe disease if they contract COVID-19 compared to other cancers, which is why they were placed on the extremely clinically vulnerable list and were advised to shield. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, some treatments were delayed when the risk of contracting COVID-19 was higher than the risk of delaying treatment.</p><p>The newly formed Cancer Recovery Taskforce brings together experts from across the cancer community and is overseeing the development of the cancer recovery plan, including taking into account any impact of a second wave of COVID-19.</p> more like this

answer text <p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, face to face appointments are being offered if required. All personalised care and support have continued by telephone, video, online or by post if face-to-face appointments and group sessions have not been possible, and in the first instance these are often the appropriate starting point. As set out in the NHS Long Term Plan, these interventions will be implemented where appropriate for every person diagnosed with cancer by 2021.</p><p>NHS England and NHS Improvement are currently carrying out an evaluation of online and video consultations in general practice to understand their impact.</p><p>This evaluation and other research work into the significant innovations in how general practitioner practices offer care is an opportunity for the Government, NHS England and NHS Improvement and professional representatives to ensure innovations can be adapted into a sustainable model into the future, to better meet patient needs and provide the best quality of care and ease of access for patients.</p>

The 2020/21 People Plan outlined Health Education England’s commitment to provide training grants for an additional 350 nurses to become CNSs and chemotherapy nurses.
