Sustainable community provision that provides specialist support for vulnerable women is essential to delivering the Female Offender Strategy.</p><p> </p><p>Since the publication of the Strategy in June 2018, we have invested £5.1 million funding in women’s services across England and Wales. With my officials, I am reviewing progress on delivering the Strategy 20 months on from its publication. Responsibility for setting pay levels within HE sits with the company, overseen by its Remuneration Committee. HE manages pay in accordance with public sector pay guidance from Cabinet Office, and a framework set by the Department for Transport, which places controls on the numbers and pay of the highest paid staff.</p><p> </p><p>The 2019 pay awards for all HE employees, including those in the senior cadre, were based on 1%; however, following recently completed negotiations, an additional, backdated award is being made which will mean that employees below senior level will receive awards for 2019 based on a total of 2%. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/03/2020 answer text <p>We are aware that the Evorel Transdermal Patch range has been unavailable from November 2019 due to a change in ownership of the product range from Janssen-Cilag to Theramex. The Department has been in regular contact with Theramex, who began reintroduction of Evorel Conti and Evorel 50 patches from mid- February 2020, with further supplies expected at the end of this month. The whole Evorel range is expected to be available by the end of March 2020.</p><p>Although the supply of Evorel patches has been affected, alternative hormone replacement therapy products continue to remain available. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/03/2020 answer text <p>We are gravely concerned about escalating regime and Russian military action and its humanitarian impact in North West Syria, where more than 948,000 people have been displaced since 1 December, of which 80% are women and children. Many of these people have been displaced multiple times and many more are at risk of imminent further displacement.</p><p>In response to increased needs, this financial year DFID has allocated £118 million to organisations delivering aid cross border primarily into North West Syria. This has helped to provide hundreds of thousands of vulnerable people with food, clean water, shelter, and healthcare including psychosocial support. While most EU Syria sanctions are on individuals associated with the Assad regime, the sanctions include restrictions on trade to or for the benefit of the Syrian regime in certain sectors, including (a) goods and technology related to chemical and biological weapons; (b) goods and technology that may be used to repress the civilian population of Syria; (c) interception and monitoring services; (d) military goods and technology; and (e) crude oil and petroleum products from Syria.The UK continues to work closely with European partners to sanction those profiting from the devastating Syrian war while minimising the impact of sanctions on ordinary Syrians. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/03/2020 answer text <p>The Department recognises that older people experience a range of complex barriers and face multiple exclusions in developing countries across the globe.</p><p>Baroness Sugg has direct responsibility for ageing as part of her portfolio on inclusive societies.</p><p>Ageing is an important factor in DFID’s efforts to tackle extreme poverty, ensure inclusion and in our approach to ‘leave no-one behind’. This is reflected in our departmental strategy papers. Both the Disability Inclusion Strategy and the Strategic Vision for Gender Equality take a life-course approach, ensuring the delivery of transformative change for people all ages.</p><p>We are also supporting governments to make vital social protection systems more inclusive of older people. In Uganda, DFID continues to build on its partnership with the Government of Uganda to deliver a Senior Citizen Grant. We will begin formal negotiations for free trade agreements with the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, as swiftly as possible. We are also interested in seeking accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).</p><p> </p><p>Alongside this we are continuing our programme to replicate existing EU trade agreements, working with trading partners to ensure continuity for UK businesses following the transition period.
