answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/04/2019 answer text <p>The House of Commons Commission does not hold records on such meetings, other than meetings of Committees on Private Bills attended by the Remembrancer.</p><p>The City Remembrancer has been involved in the promotion of two private bills since 2010 on behalf of the City of London: City of London (Various Powers) Bill in 2013 and the City of London Corporation (Open Spaces) Bill in 2017.　<br></p><p>The City of London (Various Powers) Bill was referred to an unopposed bill committee which met on 16 July 2013. The Committee members were Mr Lindsay Hoyle, Mr Adrian Bailey, Sir Peter Bottomley, Teresa Pearce and Craig Whittaker. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2019 answer text <p>The Government has a manifesto commitment to ensure stronger protection for our ancient woodlands, and the irreplaceable nature of ancient woodlands is recognised in our 25 Year Environment Plan. Defra and its statutory bodies are working closely with HS2 Ltd. and the Department for Transport to make sure that environmental impacts resulting from HS2, including protection of woodland and loss of ancient woodland, are considered and minimised.</p><p>Natural England and the Environment Agency have service level agreements with HS2 Ltd. to advise on the development of HS2, including on avoiding, as far as practicable, loss to ancient woodlands. Natural England has also provided information to help inform HS2 Ltd.’s Ancient Woodland Strategies.</p><p> </p><p>The HS2 Woodland Fund has been established for Phase 1 to support the restoration of existing plantations on ancient woodland sites (PAWS) and the creation of new native woodland.</p><p> </p><p>Natural England is also working with HS2 Ltd to identify ancient woodland within HS2’s route corridor which is not on the Ancient Woodland Inventory. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/03/2019 answer text <p>Wild birds are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, which makes it an offence to intentionally kill or injure a bird. High Speed Two must demonstrate how it is ensuring that the project does not affect birds during the nesting season.</p><p> </p><p>High Speed Two and its contractors have ecology technical standards, which set out how they will reduce risk if work is needed in the bird breeding season. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2019 answer text <p>Where losses of ancient woodland are expected to occur, a range of compensatory measures may be proposed by High Speed Two Ltd;</p><p> </p><ul><li><p>translocation of ancient woodland soils;</p></li></ul><p> </p><ul><li><p>translocation of coppice stools;</p></li></ul><p> </p><ul><li><p>new woodland creation; and</p></li></ul><p> </p><ul><li><p>enhancement to existing woodlands (ancient and non-ancient).</p></li></ul><p> </p><p>The selection of these compensatory measures will be bespoke to each ancient woodland site affected and HS2 Ltd has not adopted a ratio approach during their development. Data is currently available between November 2017 and January 2019. A table showing the time between booking an appointment with a general practice and having the appointment (in days) for England and NHS North (Yorkshire and Humber) is attached. There are seasonal variations in the general practitioner appointment data therefore the most recent month for which data is available (January 2019) is presented as well as a 12-month average.
