We regularly consult with women’s organisations as we develop policies, and will continue to do so. For example, we have engaged with women’s groups through the Centenary Programme, Returners Programme and the LGBT action plan.</p><p>The Government Equalities Office is currently developing a programme of work to ensure that women’s voices are better heard by policymakers. The standards are food based and nutritional information of individual products is not specifically set out, however schools and catering services must meet allergens law. The standards severely restrict foods high in fat, salt and sugar, including high sugar foods and confectionery. While the Secretary of State has powers under the Enterprise Act 2002 to intervene in certain media mergers raising public interest concerns, there is no requirement under the Enterprise Act 2002 for parties to advise us of the transaction.</p><p>My officials will contact Lebedev Holdings Ltd about the transaction, and to obtain further information to determine whether there has been a change of control which would give rise to a merger falling within the jurisdiction of the 2002 Act.
