answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/07/2017 answer text <p>Decisions on the opening and closing of individual bank branches are taken by the management team of each bank on a commercial basis without intervention from Government. While banks and building societies need to balance customer interests, market competition, and other commercial factors when considering their strategy, the Government is pleased to see that the industry is committing to further improvements to protect those affected by branch closures. For this reason, the Government welcomed the industry-wide Access to Banking Protocol and Professor Russel Griggs’ independent ‘one year on’ review, published last November.</p><p> </p><p>Building on Professor Griggs’ review, the new Access to Banking Standard came into effect on 1 May. Our aim is to offer a streamlined and high quality service for everyone, keeping any fees at a reasonable level. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/07/2017 answer text <p>Transformation of Government’s cyber security is supported by investment from the £1.9bn National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP) and aims to realise the objectives set out in the National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021. The Government will build cyber security resilience through: the adoption of National Cyber Security Centre’s ‘Active Cyber Defence’ measures, migration away from insecure legacy or unsupported IT systems (such as the type affected by the recent ransomware attacks) and the safe adoption of commodity technology and cloud services.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, Government will shortly issue new Baseline Cyber Security Standards to all central Government departments and their agencies. There is also sizeable investment and emphasis on creation of a new Government security profession that will create a pipeline of cyber security talent and address skills shortages. We are clear that it should be no earlier than the date we triggered Article 50 (29 March 2017), and no later than the date we leave the EU. At the centre of this process is an assessment by the Health and Safety Executive of scientific information on the risks that can arise from the use of these products. If the risks to people or to the environment are unacceptable, the pesticide is not authorised. Possible risks to bees are considered in this process.</p><p> </p><p>Conditions are placed on the use of authorised pesticides to ensure the protection of people and the environment. These conditions may include maximum dose rates or restrictions on timing and place of application.
