Home Office Ministers and Officials have regular contact with all CTA members and there continues to be excellent government and operational level co-operation on a joint programme of work which includes: investment in border procedures; increased data sharing to inform immigration and border security decisions; interoperable passenger data systems, including the collection and processing of Advance Passenger Information (API) on intra and extra CTA routes, and; harmonised visa policy and processes. Political and operational co-operation is strong and the Irish authorities are having considerable success disrupting the activities of dissident republican terrorists and bringing them to justice.</p><p> </p><p>I commend the PSNI and AGS for their work on tackling the terrorist threat and their efforts to keep people safe on both sides of the border. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/04/2016 answer text <p>HM Treasury’s analysis into the long-term economic impact of EU membership and the alternatives clearly shows that because of the benefits to the economy, membership of the EU is a good deal for the British taxpayer. These benefits include access to the EU Single Market, including the ability of the EU to negotiate access to global markets.</p><p> </p><p>For every £1 paid in tax a little over 1p goes to the EU<strong>.</strong> As the Chancellor has said, the impact on tax receipts of leaving the EU would be significant; to offset the economic loss, this could mean an increase in taxes equivalent to an additional 8p on the basic rate of income tax.
