answer text <p>At any given time there may be Afghans visiting Pakistan for work, study or leisure. There are also a number of Afghan refugees in Pakistan. The UK is working with the Government of Pakistan to support them and encourage their inclusion in services provided to the wider population. We are a member of the policy group, Solutions Strategy for Afghan Refugees, which supports long-term solutions for Afghan refugees in Pakistan. The UK has provided £6.5 million to support refugee preparedness in Pakistan. The Foreign Secretary discussed this issue when he spoke to Foreign Minister Bhutto-Zadari on 20 December 2022.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We remain committed to securing the immediate and permanent release of unfairly detained British nationals in Iran, including Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. The Foreign Secretary continues to raise Iran's practice of detaining British dual nationals with her Iranian counterpart, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdolahian and, and I [Minister Cleverly] most recently raised with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Baqeri Kani on 11 November. Our Ambassador in Tehran continues to raise these cases with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, most recently on 8 March.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government has been clear that it will provide police forces with the support they need to continue protecting the public and keeping communities safe through the coronavirus pandemic.</p><p> </p><p>In October 2020, the Government announced an additional £30m funding for police forces in England and Wales to step up their enforcement of coronavirus rules. Bedfordshire Police has received £ 270,485 from this additional funding.</p><p> </p><p>The department continues to work closely with the policing sector to monitor and make decisions on their current and future needs.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government is taking significant steps to promote environmental sustainability in businesses and to encourage clean growth in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>The Clean Growth Strategy set out ambitious plans to promote sustainability in businesses, including developing a package of measures to improve business energy productivity by at least 20% by 2030.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Resources and Waste Strategy which is planned to be published later this year, will set out the Government’s approach to increasing resource efficiency and minimising waste across all sectors of the economy.</p><p> </p> more like this
