answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/09/2023 answer text <p>In 2021, during the UK COP26 Presidency, the World Bank Group made a commitment to fully align its sovereign operations with the Paris Agreement by 1 July 2023, and non-sovereign operations by 1 July 2025. In March this year the World Bank published a comprehensive set of methodologies and sector notes detailing its approach to Paris alignment. Since 1 July, all projects are assessed for Paris alignment. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/09/2023 answer text <p>The UK has been a longstanding supporter of the Productive Safety Net Programme (PSNP) which has reached millions of vulnerable people throughout Ethiopia and has helped to promote resilience to drought. In January this year I [Minister Andrew Mitchell] announced a package of support to the PSNP budgeted at £11.6 million. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/09/2023 answer text <p>Since publishing the rough sleeping strategy last September, Government is making good progress on core commitments: for instance, we have extended our flagship Rough Sleeping Initiative to 2025, with over £530 million funding so that local areas can provide the tailored support needed to tackle rough sleeping in their areas. On the Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme, we have now delivered over 5,000 units of accommodation out of a programme target of 6,000 and have launched the new £200 million Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme which will provide much needed homes for young people and rough sleepers with complex needs.</p><p>Rough sleeping levels are 35% lower in 2022 compared to the peak in 2017 and 28% lower than they were in 2019 before the pandemic. We will continue to work with local authorities and partners, the voluntary and community sector and private sector.</p><p>As the Hon. The offence of common assault carries a maximum penalty of six months.</p><p>Additionally, the Government has already legislated to introduce a statutory aggravating factor for assault against any public facing worker via section 156 of the Police Crime Sentencing and Courts Act 2022. This legislation extends to England and Wales. The statutory aggravating factor applies in cases of assault where an offence is committed against those performing a public duty or providing a service to the public and ensures the courts treat the public-facing nature of a victim’s role as an aggravating factor when considering the sentence for an offence.</p><p>The introduction of the statutory aggravating factor sends a strong message that violence and abuse against retail staff will not be tolerated.</p><p>The Home Office continues to work closely with retailers, trade associations and policing through the National Retail Crime Steering Group to ensure the response to retail crime is as robust as it can be.</p> answering member constituency Croydon South answering member printed Chris Philp question first answered 14/09/2023 15:08:57 answering member 4503 label Biography information for Chris Philp

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/09/2023 answer text <p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the independent, expert body responsible for translating evidence into authoritative guidance on best practice for the health and care system in England.</p><p>NICE has published a number of guidelines relevant to the management of patients with Huntington’s disease, including on the recognition and referral of neurological conditions and depression in adults with a chronic physical health problem.
