The Department for Transport has not carried out an assessment of the adequacy of pay increases for each level of staff in Highways England over the period since its establishment.</p><p> </p><p>Responsibility for setting pay levels within Highways England sits with the Company, overseen by its Remuneration Committee. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2020 answer text <p>In the February 2019 consultation on the plastic packaging tax, the Government proposed that the tax would apply to plastic packaging in the same way as in the Packaging Producer Responsibility scheme, in order to ensure that the tax is clear and simple. This would mean that the tax would include both recyclable and single use packaging. The vast majority of respondents to the consultation agreed with this approach. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/03/2020 answer text <p>Of the estimated 50,000 individuals affected by the Loan Charge, the Government currently estimates that around 11,000 will be taken out of the Loan Charge altogether as a result of the changes announced by the Government in December 2019. In addition, individuals who have settled or are settling their tax liability with HMRC will also be out of scope of the charge. There is not yet a firm estimate of the number who will choose to settle and so be out of scope of the Loan Charge. For certain occasions we fly other flags including the Commonwealth Flag, Merchant Navy Flag, Rainbow Flag, Armed Forces Flag, Transgender Flag and Red Ribbon Flag.</p><p> </p><p>We have flown the Flag of St George on St George’s Day since 2007.
