answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/06/2023 answer text <p>Funding for School Staff Instructors (SSI) was introduced to help support the sustainability of cadet units in schools, assist with the growth of cadet numbers, and support the Government’s ambition of having 60,000 cadets in school cadet units.</p><p>The Department has not made a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of this element of the Government’s support for Combined Cadet Forces. In April 2022, the Ministry of Defence ‘Sponsored Cadet Forces’ statistics showed that there was an increase of 23% in adult volunteers and a 10% increase in the number of Cadets on Combined Cadet Forces in the year in which SSI funding was introduced. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>We are committed to supporting coastal communities to unlock barriers to their development and growth, and to strengthen their appeal as places to live, work and visit.</p><p>Since 2012 we have provided coastal communities in England with £132 million of support through the Coastal Communities Fund, £3.7 million through the Coastal Revival Fund and provided £1.46 million to support the establishment of 146 Coastal Communities Teams around the English Coastline.
