However, we continue to assess more broadly current levels of migration, asylum and migration capabilities, conditions for migrants themselves and the impact on communities. Where it is appropriate to provide support, the UK has, for example, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, made available £500,000 to support a project delivered through the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to contribute to local governments' efforts to enhance community stabilization and social cohesion in targeted locations in Una Sana Canton, following the recent increase in migrant arrivals. In Serbia, we have spent over £500,000 to improve asylum management systems by providing technical assistance and building capacity, again delivered through the IOM. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/03/2019 answer text <p>The British Government is committed to supporting Greece's efforts to manage migration effectively, which includes working with the Greek Government to support the most vulnerable.</p><p>The Greek Government is continuing to reduce overcrowding by transferring vulnerable migrants and asylum seekers to accommodation that is more suitable on the mainland. On behalf of EU Member States, the EU Commission is working with, and pressing, the Greek authorities to speed up this process. This is alongside the Commission's continuing wider efforts to make overall improvements, including to the Greek appeals and returns processes.</p><p>The Government continues to offer support to alleviate the pressures on the islands and make sustainable improvements to the migration system. The Immigration Minister and Development Secretary visited the migrant camps last summer to assess the conditions and engage with the Greek authorities and other agencies on the ground. UK support includes the deployments of interpreters to the Greek Reception and Identification Service on the Greek islands. The interpreters help the Greek Government in processing arriving migrants, and specifically help facilitate the identification of migrants who are vulnerable to ensure they receive support as quickly as possible.</p><p>More widely, we have stepped up our efforts to enable the most vulnerable unaccompanied children, where it is in their best interest, to relocate from Europe to the UK, by removing the date criterion in the Dubs Amendment. Of this between £40,000 - £50,000 is being spent on projects relating to public health effects of drug use and abuse. This does not include the Newton Agham Programme or the Prosperity Fund which are not focused on health.</p><p>The projects are not specifically aimed at prisons and detention centres, although our Embassy in Manila does make regular consular representations on prison and detention centres in the Philippines.</p><p>In addition to bilateral spend, in 2016, the Philippines received £8.36 million of UK aid through multilateral organisations. The Act requires the negotiated withdrawal agreement and the framework for the future relationship to have been approved by a resolution of the House of Commons, a motion for the House of Lords to take note of the negotiated withdrawal agreement and the framework for the future relationship to have been tabled, and an Act of Parliament to have been passed which contains provision for the implementation of the withdrawal agreement.</p><p>The Prime Minister has confirmed that the Government intends to return to the debate in the House of Commons in the week commencing 7 January and hold the vote the following week. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/12/2018 answer text <p>The Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 creates a duty on certain named public authorities to refer people to local authorities who may be at risk of becoming homeless.</p><p>Consideration has been given to making the Home Office a named public authority for these purposes in circumstances where a person is leaving asylum accommodation following a grant of refugee status. question text	To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the report by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund and International Organization for Migration, Refugee and Migrant Children in Europe Overview of Trends 2017, published on 2 May, and in particular of the report's findings that (1) in 2017, 32,963 refugee and migrant children arrived in Europe, of whom over 60 per cent were unaccompanied or separated from their families, (2) in 2017, 5,000 out of 17,000 unaccompanied children arriving in Italy went missing, and (3) in Greece, 600 unaccompanied children have been identified as street-homeless and 2,800 are in unacceptable conditions while awaiting a secure placement.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2018 answer text <p>The Government takes the welfare of unaccompanied asylum seeking children extremely seriously and is fully committed to helping and supporting the most vulnerable children affected by the migration crisis.</p><p>The UK provided protection to almost 6,400 children in 2017 and nearly 33,000 since the start of 2010. Of the 15,170 people granted asylum, protection and resettlement in the year ending September 2018, 6,394 (42%) were children.
