answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/07/2018 answer text <p>As set out in Phase 2 of the Childhood Obesity Strategy, HMT will review the Soft Drinks Industry Levy exemption for milk-based drinks in 2020. At this stage, we have not made an assessment of the revenue that would be generated.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Levy is designed to tackle childhood obesity by incentivising producers and importers to reduce the amount of added-sugar in the drinks they sell. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2018 answer text <p>As set out in the response to the Consultation on proposed changes to Gaming Machines and Social Responsibility Measures on 17th May, the government considers that Local Authorities have sufficient existing powers in relation to gambling-related harm.</p><p> </p><p>We encourage Local Authorities to continue making use of these powers to manage gambling at a local level, alongside working with the Gambling Commission to ensure the effective deployment of the existing tools at their disposal.
