answer text <p>The Government is currently negotiating an ambitious UK-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to boost trade with the region by cutting tariffs and removing red tape. The ongoing FTA negotiations with the GCC show our commitment to move towards a strengthened and more formalised trade relationship with Saudi Arabia.</p><p> </p><p>Bilaterally, the UK and Saudi Arabia engage together as part of the Strategic Partnership Council to underpin bilateral relations, bolster mutually beneficial trade and investment, and develop partnerships between UK and Saudi giga-projects. I also recently travelled to Saudi Arabia to represent the UK at the Future Minerals Forum, one of the world’s largest critical mineral events.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is also supporting British businesses operating in Saudi Arabia through our extensive market access work, which aims to reduce or remove regulatory or administrative restrictions that can impede a business exporting or investing overseas.</p>

answer text <p>Since 2019, my department has invested £39.5 million in Blackpool’s Town Deal, £40 million of Levelling Up Fund and £5.8 million of Shared Prosperity Fund into Blackpool.</p><p>In February 2022, my department undertook a deep dive with Blackpool Council to better understand Blackpool’s regeneration needs, including relocating the court buildings. answer text <p>The Prime Minister’s Anti-social Behaviour Action Plan sets out how we will support councils to take tougher action against those who fly-tip. This includes raising the upper limit of spot fines for fly-tipping to £1,000; delivering on our manifesto commitment to increase penalties.</p><p> </p><p>We have also awarded councils nearly £1.2 million to purchase equipment to tackle fly-tipping, such as CCTV, and consulted on reforms to how waste is managed to stamp out criminal activity.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK has played a leading role alongside our G7 allies in driving the response to Putin’s brutal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.</p><p>On 7 April, the Foreign Secretary met her G7 counterparts at the NATO Foreign Ministers meeting in Brussels. They reiterated our unwavering support for Ukraine, and our readiness to assist further, including providing weapons and financial assistance to support Ukraine in defending itself against Russian aggression.</p><p>The Foreign Secretary will meet her G7 counterparts again in Germany next month.</p> more like this
