The Government will safeguard consumers’ privacy, whilst enabling proportionate access to energy consumption data to support the monitoring, evaluation, fraud prevention and scrutiny of the EPG. Robust security measures are in place to protect data, such as firewalls and passwords and the Government will only retain data for as long as it is required. The Government will collect any data (e.g. energy consumption) via a secure transfer from the energy suppliers. answer text
RAPID C-19 is a multi-agency initiative including NIHR, NICE, MHRA, NHSE&I and representatives from the devolved governments. When treatments are proven to be safe and effective, the RAPID C-19 group works to get treatments for COVID-19 to NHS patients quickly and safely, by providing a streamlined process from horizon scanning, to regulatory approval, to patients. This initiative has already enabled rapid patient access to therapeutics including dexamethasone, remdesivir, tocilizumab and sarilumab and baricitinib and novel antibody treatments such as casirivimab and imdevimab and sotrovimab, and the two oral antivirals molnupiravir and nirmatralvir+ritonavir (Paxlovid).
more like this
