answer text <p>The CPS is determined to drive up the number of rape and serious sexual offence (‘RASSO’) cases going to court. Too few victims are seeing justice and reversing that is an absolute priority. The reasons for the decline in prosecutions are complex, with the Government rape review finding no single factor is to blame.</p><p>The CPS is working tirelessly in making improvements to the handling of these sensitive cases through its RASSO 2025 Strategy and the Joint National RASSO Action Plan with the police. This includes targeted work supporting victims in order to increase confidence in reporting. Following the impact of Covid-19 on prosecution volumes, it is encouraging to see increased volumes quarter on quarter – however, it is recognised that there is still work to be done.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK Presidency alongside our Operational Partners continue to work tirelessly to support the delivery of an in-person COP26 in Glasgow.</p><p>As the Prime Minister announced at the G7, the UK Government has begun work to provide COVID-19 vaccines to accredited COP26 delegates who would be unable to get them otherwise.</p><p>I urge all accredited delegates who do not have access to a vaccine to register their interest through the UNFCCC registration portal as soon as possible and no later than 23 July.</p> more like this

The RFA does not sponsor the Merchant Navy Ratings Pension Fund and the MOD is not responsible for any costs or entitlements associated with it.</del></p><p> </p><p><del class="ministerial">In addition, my answer to Questions 18563 and 18564 on 28 June 2021 contained an error. It stated:</del></p><p> </p><p><del class="ministerial">The RFA does not sponsor the Merchant Navy Officers Pension Fund and the MOD is not responsible for any costs or entitlements associated with it.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">It should have said:</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">The RFA does not sponsor the Merchant Navy Ratings Pension Fund and the MOD is not responsible for any costs or entitlements associated with it. </del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">The Royal Navy is a participating employer for the Merchant Navy Pension Fund for Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) personnel who were members of this scheme prior to the RFA transitioning to the main Civil Service Pension Scheme. The fund closed to new members on 31 May 2001 and is in the process of running down.</ins></p>
