London’s roads fall into three main categories; the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN), known as red routes, which are managed by Transport for London (TfL); the Borough Principal Road Network (BPRN) managed by the individual London boroughs; and a small number of motorways forming part of the Strategic Road Network (SRN) managed by Highways England. All of the above are subject to the London Permit Scheme (LoPS) which was brought in to minimise the disruption caused by roadworks and streetworks across London. Each borough and TfL have their own schemes, ensuring local control of conditions on local roads. The Transport for London Lane Rental Scheme (TLRS) also helps manage works on the TLRN at traffic-sensitive locations. A daily charge of £800 or £2500 per day is applied, depending upon the sensitivity of the location. We are prioritising our aid in Syria and neighbouring countries, where the scale of displacement is greatest. We have been following the case closely and officials from our Embassy in Tel Aviv have spoken to Amnesty International about Mr Al Qeeq. Our Consulate General in Jerusalem has received regular updates on the condition of Mr Al Qeeq from Palestinian officials and organisations. We remain concerned about Israel’s extensive use of administrative detention. Administrative detention should, according to international law, be used only when security makes it absolutely necessary rather than as routine practice, and as a preventative rather than a punitive measure. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/02/2016 answer text <p>We have regular dialogue with the Tunisian government on a range of issues, including their economic development, particularly in marginalised areas like Kasserine.</p><p>UK support to Tunisia has doubled in the last year to nearly £6 million, and we will continue this high level of support in the next financial year. Since 2011, working with international partners and using funds including the Arab Partnership, Arab Partnership Economic Facility and Conflict Security and Stability Fund, the UK has supported private sector development, vocational training, job creation, economic governance and transparency, including in marginalised areas. Partners such as Germany, the US, France, the EU, the European Reconstruction and Development Bank, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank are also involved in similar initiatives. It is also important that the Tunisian government sets out and implements its vision for economic and social development. To date, we have committed over £2.3 billion, our largest ever response to a humanitarian crisis. As a result of the rise of Daesh, a separate humanitarian crisis has also emerged in Iraq. To date, we have committed £79.5 million to the humanitarian crisis in Iraq.</p><p>We continue to play a leading role in encouraging the international community to contribute generously to the UN appeals. At the Supporting Syria and the Region Conference we co-hosted in London on 4 February 2016, leaders came together to pledge more than $11 billion, the largest amount raised in one day for a humanitarian crisis. The money pledged at the Conference will save lives, give hope and give people a chance for the future.</p><p>We welcome the generous pledge of $2.5 billion in immediate and long-term funding from Germany at the Conference. Likewise, the EU pledged €915 million for 2016, €1.275 billion for 2017-20 and a further €200 million in concessional finance. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/02/2016 answer text <p>The Government is in regular discussion with French counterparts at ministerial and official level on all aspects of the migrant situation in Northern France.</p><p>In line with the UK-France Joint Declaration signed in August 2015, both countries carry out joint communications visits to the camps in Calais and Dunkirk to inform migrants about their rights and responsibilities.</p><p>The coordination of volunteers, charities and NGOs in France is the responsibility of the French authorities. However, the UK has issued advice for UK residents who want to help or donate to support migrants in Calais. There are no plans to change the legal aid arrangements for family reunion. As with all cases outside the scope of legal aid, exceptional funding may be available where required under ECHR or EU law.</p><p> </p><p>Guidance to support applications for family reunion is available from the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
