answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/03/2018 answer text <p>Unexplained wealth orders (UWOs) can be used to compel individuals to explain the sources of their wealth where it is suspected that their lawful income would be insufficient to obtain specified property, if they are a non-EEA politically exposed person, or suspected of being involved in serious crime. This is a powerful new weapon for tackling illicit finances and corruption.</p><p>Since the legislation came into force on 31 January 2018, the first UWOs have already been issued by the courts to investigate assets totalling £22 million. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/03/2018 answer text <p>In a recent submission to the Department for Education consultation on the future of PSHE education the Just Finance Foundation set up by the Archbishop of Canterbury reported that 40% of UK adults have less than £100 in savings and struggled to manage money. The impact of potential lifelong indebtedness makes financial capability an issue of pressing importance for younger generations. The Church of England approached this through the foundation of an education programme called LifeSavers.</p><p>LifeSavers was designed to practically demonstrate­ how schools can weave financial education throughout the teaching and life of the school in a way that is sustainable. Funding has currently has enabled the scheme to operate in 70 schools with a further 50 next year. Responsibility for handling student complaints, in the first instance, is a matter for the relevant HE provider.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, HE providers have responsibilities under consumer law, and the obligation for meeting these lies with the individual HE providers. The Competition and Markets Authority has produced guidance for providers on how they can meet their responsibilities under consumer law. This arrangement and these exemption criteria are set out in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001.</p><p> </p><p>This legislation exempts funeral plan providers from the Financial Conduct Authority’s regulatory remit where the following financial arrangements are conducted, which are designed to ensure that the customer’s payments are secure:</p><p> </p><ol><ol><li><p>the customer’s money is held in a trust fund, where more than half of the trustees are unconnected with the funeral plan provider.
