However, we have issued guidance on good practice in the collection of council tax arrears to local authorities advising them to publicise details of where to go for help and advice. This includes signposting residents to free to use debt advisers. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/01/2018 answer text <p>Accessing digital, budgeting and other support is discussed with customers at the initial claim stage and throughout the customer journey where a need/barrier is identified. Budgeting advice specifically is offered to all Universal Credit claimants when they make a new claim. This service is provided by external organisations such as a local authority, Citizens Advice Bureau or Money Advice Service.</p><p> </p><p>DWP staff are made aware of the specialist help available within their area, including information on services and support and referral arrangements, via the District Provision Tool. Schools are required to identify and address the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) of pupils, including arranging for appropriate tests. They receive funding which enables them to meet additional needs up to £6,000 per pupil with SEND. Building on 2013-16 funding, the DfE is funding the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and partners in 2017-18, with £500,000 to facilitate better support for children with dyslexia. This is separate from the work of the Immigration Removal Centres. The Government believes that the process provides claimants with the necessary time and opportunity to enable their applications to be justly decided.
