answer text <p>From April 2016, the Government introduced a mandatory National Living Wage for workers aged 25 and above. The statutory National Minimum Wage applies to workers under the age of 25. However, as this is a statutory requirement, our expectation is that 100% of organisations that hold contracts with the department will be paying the National Living Wage. The Government is committed to enforcing this right.</p><p> </p><p>Crown Commercial Service (CCS), who act as HM Treasury’s commercial arm, require suppliers to comply with all applicable human rights and employment laws in the jurisdictions in which they work. Suppliers must also have robust means of ensuring compliance through their supply chain.</p> more like this
