answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/03/2019 answer text <p>It is clear that not all countries are fully implementing sanctions, as demonstrated by the UN Panel of Experts report of 5 March. The Government keeps close track of North Korean sanctions implementation and responds robustly when there is evidence of sanctions breaches. We are active in working with and lobbying, where necessary, international partners to ensure that all relevant UN Security Council measures in respect of North Korea are fully implemented. Until North Korea takes concrete steps towards denuclearisation, sanctions must remain and all states must enforce them in full.</p><p> </p><p>We welcome the work of the UN Panel of Experts who are mandated to gather, examine and analyse information provided by States on their implementation of the measures, as well as information on incidents of non-compliance. The Panel’s latest report details continued evasion of sanctions by North Korea and insufficient implementation of sanctions by a wide range of countries. Gender pay gap tables are available at: <a href="http://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabourmarket/peopleinwork/earningsandworkinghours/datasets/regionbyoccupation2digitsocashetable3" target="_blank">www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabourmarket/peopleinwork/earningsandworkinghours/datasets/regionbyoccupation2digitsocashetable3</a>).</p><p> </p><p>The latest ONS ASHE 2018 provisional data shows that the median pay gap in the UK between male and female teaching and education professionals is 6.1%. ‘Teaching and education professionals’ includes teaching staff across Early Years, Schools, Further Education and Higher Education. Approximately two thirds of ‘teaching and education professionals’ are in schools. A recent report from the United Nations Joint Human Rights Office (UNJHRO) in the DRC suggests as many as 890 people were killed; thousands more were displaced. We echo the comments made by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet: we condemn all such violence and the perpetrators of these terrible crimes must be brought to justice as soon as possible. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/03/2019 answer text <p>The latest advice from the Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants, published in August last year, is that the mortality burden of the air pollution mixture (based on both PM<sub>2.5 </sub>and NO<sub>2</sub>) in the UK is equivalent to 28,000 to 36,000 deaths per year. Mortality burden is a statistical way of assessing the impact of diseases and pollution. The equivalent figures at a more localised level are not available. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2019 answer text <p>​I spoke to Sudanese Foreign Minister Dirdiri on 23 January and 13 March to express the strength of our ongoing concern at the use of violence, the decision to declare a state of emergency and to urge the government to respect the rights of the Sudanese people. In addition, I raised our concern regarding the response to protests in Sudan, including the use of lethal force, with the Sudanese Foreign Minister and emphasised the importance of respect for the rule of law and for human rights. Most recently the Sudanese ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Office on 7 March to register the depth of our ongoing concern at recent declarations which further erode human rights. We remain deeply concern at the human rights implication of the Government of Sudan's response to protests. Additionally, the Parliamentary Under Secretary for Innovation (Baroness Blackwood of North Oxford) will be representing the Department of Health and Social Care in upcoming Cabinet-level discussions on future trade deals.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has repeatedly made its position on this clear - protecting public services, including the NHS, is of the utmost importance for the United Kingdom. The NHS is not, and never will be, for sale to the private sector, whether overseas or domestic. We will ensure that no trade agreements alter these fundamental facts.</p><p> </p><p>None of the trade agreements that we are party to as European Union members threaten or allow privatisation of public services, including the NHS. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/03/2019 answer text <p>​On 7 March, the Foreign Secretary decided that the UK will exercise diplomatic protection in the case of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe as part of the British Government’s continuing efforts to secure her release. This represents formal recognition by the Government that her treatment fails to meet Iran’s obligations under international law and elevates it to a formal State to State issue. Diplomatic protection is rarely used.
