All providers of regulated activities must register with CQC and comply with Regulations and a set of fundamental standards of safety and quality.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>One of these fundamental standards relates to treating users of services with dignity and respect. The CQC issues guidance to providers on how they should meet the fundamental standards. The guidance on the standard governing dignity and respect includes the following:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>- when people receive care and treatment, all staff must treat them with dignity and respect at all times. This includes staff treating them in a caring and compassionate way; and</p><p> </p><p>- all communication with people using services must be respectful. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/09/2015 answer text <p>The Code of Practice on Police Use of Firearms and Less Lethal Weapons 2003, made under section 39A of the Police Act 1996 determines the framework by which police forces use both conventional firearms and less lethal weapons. Providing Royal Mail as the designated Universal Service Provider for the UK maintains its network of post-boxes in accordance with the framework set by Ofcom, the postal services regulator, decisions relating to local post boxes are made on operational grounds by Royal Mail’s management.</p><p>In 2014, Royal Mail announced plans to increase the number of post-boxes around the country to account for any local impact of new collection times. The company’s initiative involved moving low volume post-boxes to “collection on delivery” with postal workers emptying the box on their delivery round rather than providing an additional dedicated collection by van. These discussions have included other EU member states, the European Commission, civil society groups, and other stakeholders. This is non-negotiable.</p><p>As Commissioner Malmström and US Trade Representative Froman have said “No EU or US trade agreement requires governments to privatise any service, or prevents governments from expanding the range of services they supply to the public.
