answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/10/2014 answer text <p>The Government is committed to protecting the privacy and data security rights of individuals, and does recognise that the potential exists for online personal information and data to be misused by organisations and agencies, including for discriminatory purposes. For this reason, stringent safeguards are in place to ensure personal data is protected and handled appropriately.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Data Protection Act 1998 and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights impose clear legal limits on how organisations can record, store, alter, use or disclose personal data. In addition the Information Commissioners Office, the UK’s independent authority for upholding information rights, provides advice to citizens, rulings on eligible complaints and can take action when the law on data privacy is broken.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government is also currently working with the Information Economy Council, business groups, regulators, the third sector, and consumer bodies to develop a framework of trust and privacy principles for businesses. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/10/2014 answer text <p>The levelised cost of onshore wind and large scale solar photovoltaics (solar PV) are expected to fall over time. These estimated cost reductions are reflected in the administrative strike prices for solar PV and onshore wind in the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMR" target="_blank">EMR</a> Delivery Plan, which shows support for these technologies falling over the coming years. Under the CfD auction, it is likely that established technologies will compete on price in order to secure a contract for support. This support will be within the budgetary constraints set through the Levy Control Framework (LCF).</p><p>It’s difficult to be certain when subsidies will no longer be required. Taking account of uncertainty, some projects may reach parity with wholesale electricity prices in the latter half of this decade or 2020s in the case of most ‘established’ technologies, such as onshore wind and solar PV, and post-2030 in the case of most ‘less established’ technologies, depending on the electricity price scenario used and the speed of cost reductions. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/10/2014 answer text <p>We are aware of reports of the use of industrial chemicals as weapons by ISIL in Iraq, and encourage the Government of Iraq to bring to the attention of the OPCW any such incidents. We welcome its report to the OPCW Executive Council in October regarding the use of chlorine by terrorist groups.</p><p>We are also aware that the Al Muthanna military site is now in the control of ISIL. We continue to monitor the situation. However, we do not believe that the site contains chemical weapons-related materials of military value. Bunkers at the Al Muthanna site did contain hazardous chemical weapons-related materials used in Iraq’s Chemical Weapons programme. The materials were made safe by the United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM) between 1992-1994.</p><p>While the Government of Iraq has kept the international community informed of incidents, and has reiterated its commitment to all international treaties and conventions aimed at preventing the use or spread of chemical weapons, it has made no requests for assistance to the international community.</p><p>We condemn unreservedly all and any use of chemical weapons by anyone. Use is a breach of international norms.
