answer text <p>This Government is committed to supporting people’s aspirations to own their own home.</p><p> </p><p>Over 50,000 households have been supported by the Help to Buy: Mortgage Guarantee and Equity Loan schemes and around 80% of these are first-time buyers. The Department does not collect data on the number of first time buyers supported by Help to Buy: NewBuy.
