answer text <p>The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has powers to investigate and take action when breaches or suspected breaches of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 are identified. The action taken is determined on a case-by-case basis and will reflect relevant factors and evidence. Offences under the Regulations are criminal and if appropriate, the MHRA will bring a prosecution through the criminal courts. Penalties range from a fine to a two-year prison sentence.</p><p>The MHRA works with external healthcare partners to ensure the safety of the public and the Border Force on the importation of illegal Botox substitutes. The MHRA will take action if any trends associated to the safety or efficacy of a healthcare product are identified. The information requested on police action is not held as this is a matter for the Home Office.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government reviews all licence applications for the export of UK-manufactured military and dual-use equipment against the Strategic Export Licensing Criteria, including an assessment of any risk that the items will be diverted to an undesirable end-user or for an undesirable end-use. In addition, the UK ensures its arms exports are compliant with the Arms Trade Treaty, and international trade sanctions. answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has implemented the Cabinet Office Social Value Model for its competitive procurements in accordance with Public Procurement Notice (PPN) 06/20 ‘taking account of social value in the award of central government contracts’. The Land Industrial Strategy acknowledges that many of the themes and outcomes identified in the Social Value Model will be highly relevant as we seek to foster an innovative, globally competitive and highly skilled land sector in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>To ensure that the taxpayer receives greater value from procurement decisions, the MOD Delivery Teams must ensure that the Model Award Criterion, identified within the Cabinet Office Social Value Model are relevant and proportionate to the procurement undertaken. Furthermore, MOD Delivery Teams activity conduct market engagement analysis to further ensure greater value for money is achieved.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The MOD Delivery Teams also have the ability to determine the appropriate weightings across the priority Social Value themes for larger procurement programmes and can use a weighting in excess of 10%, if deemed appropriate.</p><p> </p><p>Social Value is measured by use of standard reporting metrics set out in the Cabinet Office Social Value Model and Contractor proposed metrics.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

answer text <p>The 1* responsible for Defence BattleLab currently sits within Army HQ. This chair responsibility will rotate between the three services. The team is staffed by Army and Royal Navy personnel with financial investment from the Defence Innovation Unit, the Army, the Royal Navy, Strategic Command, Dorset Council and Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership.</p><p>The Defence BattleLab Board has a representation from all of these bodies. answer text <p>As described in the Defence and Security Industrial Strategy (DSIS), the government is committed to publishing clear statements of our national security needs, plans, and technology priorities.</p><p> </p><p>The Land Industrial Strategy (LIS) provides the first iteration of our Land investment plan over the next decade and we intend to expand this to offer a longer term view that includes the mission system upgrades required to keep our equipment contemporary.
