answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/06/2020 answer text <p>It is important to recognise that remediation work cannot be done overnight – and it must be done properly so that it makes buildings and residents safe. The time to complete works varies considerably depending on factors such as structure, extent of cladding, and existing fire safety systems. For many buildings this is a complex job involving major construction work.</p><p>It remains our priority to ensure that this is done swiftly. The £600 million the Government has committed towards unsafe ACM remediation removes the biggest blocker to progress. We have also put in place additional project management support with construction expertise to help support individual projects and oversee remediation.
