Applicants are required to declare whether they have convictions in the UK or abroad and whether they have had any involvement in terrorist activities, war crimes, crimes against humanity or given support to an organisation concerned with extremism. They will then be checked against UK police databases as well as watch-lists.</p><p>In line with the draft Withdrawal Agreement, conduct (including any criminal convictions relating to it) before the end of the implementation period will be assessed according to the current EU public policy tests for deportation, as set out in the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2016. Where an application is refused applicants will be able to contact the EU Settlement Resolution Centre to discuss the outcome of their application. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/10/2018 answer text <p>HM Revenue &amp; Customs has received a number of representations from the tobacco industry and others about the implementation of a track and trace system.</p><p> </p><p>As I set out in my previous answer, the government is committed to meeting the requirements for independence from the tobacco industry as per Article 8 of the WHO FCTC Protocol to Eliminate the Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products.</p><p> </p><p>The track and trace system will be implemented under the EU Tobacco Products Directive. The implementing legislation for the Directive specifies strict and comprehensive criteria by which independence from the tobacco industry is determined. Providers of the track and trace system will need to demonstrate to HM Revenue &amp; Customs that they satisfy this criteria both before and during the period they provide the services required as a condition of holding the respective contracts. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/09/2018 answer text <p>The Domestic Gas &amp; Electricity (Tariff Cap) Act places a duty on Ofgem to set a temporary price cap on standard variable and default tariffs.</p><p> </p><p>On 6th September 2018, Ofgem published a statutory consultation, in which they propose a methodology for setting the cap level which takes account of supplier costs including for the wholesale cost of energy.
