Specific objectives within the National Cyber Security strategy are aligned with departmental responsibilities and the corresponding Ministerial portfolio.</p><p>We embed cyber security in everything that the the government does. To meet the challenges of cyber security we launched the new National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021 in November 2016. answer text <p>The UK will consider all options available to it under domestic and international law in responding to cyber attacks by state actors. For UN Security Council sanctions to be agreed, resolutions require 9 votes in favour and no P5 veto. We are also working with the EU on a 'Framework for a Joint EU Diplomatic Response to Malicious Cyber Activity', which will state the range of diplomatic, political and economic measures available to the EU and Member States to combat state sanctioned cyber attacks. answer text <p>HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) enforce the National Minimum Wage (NMW) in line with the law and policy set out by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The government are determined that everyone who is entitled to NMW receives it.</p><p> </p><p>HMRC does not record statistics on complaints or the outcomes of its investigations by reference to regions, constituencies or counties. In 2016-17, HMRC closed over 2,600 cases into NMW non-compliance and identified arrears of over £10.9m for more than 98,000 workers.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In their March Economic and Fiscal Outlook, the Office for Budget Responsibility expected consumption growth to slow as the past depreciation of sterling put upwards pressure on inflation. The latest data on household consumption show that in Q1 2017 it was 2.6% higher than a year earlier.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is taking action to support people with the cost of living. answer text <p>The Loans to Ireland Act 2010 provided Parliamentary authorisation for a bilateral loan of £3.2 billion to Ireland. Under section 2 of this Act, HM Treasury provides a report to Parliament on the UK’s bilateral loan to Ireland as soon as practicable after 31 March and 30 September each year. The UK also provides lending to overseas buyers to support UK exporters through UK Export Finance, details of which are reported in their annual report. The UK also has a limited portfolio of loans to developing countries made in the past through the Department for International Development, and the balances are reported in DFID’s annual report. The UK engages in discussions on debt internationally and has agreed to principles on debt sustainability in the G20. This includes work to improve transparency sovereign debt data.</p> more like this
