answer text <p>The vaccination programme, the use of antiviral treatments and guidance on safer behaviours will limit the risks of COVID-19 transmission in future. From 1 April 2022, free asymptomatic and symptomatic testing for the general public in England will end. Free testing for a small number of at risk groups will continue.
