For example, in the draft Relationships, Sex and Health Education Statutory Guidance, currently under consultation, we make it clear that pupils should have the opportunity to identify positive male role models.

To help dispel taboos and stigmas among men about their general health, the government is appointing the UK’s first Men’s Health Ambassador. Alongside the work of the first Men’s Health Task and Finish Group, they will help us to identify how to get more men to engage with their health. The group includes behavioural scientists, men’s health campaigners, health experts and academics.
more like this

answer text
The FCDO ministerial team have and will continue to engage with counterparts in countries on the front line of climate change. The deal agreed at COP28 is a key moment in global efforts to get to net zero by 2050 and is the first time there has been a global agreement to transition away from fossil fuels. But the frequency, severity and costs of the impacts from climate change and nature loss are increasing, and it is the poorest and most vulnerable that suffer the most and disproportionately. That is why the UK announced £100 million at COP28 to support some of the most climate-vulnerable countries, which contributes towards the £1.6 billion announced by the Prime Minister at COP28.
more like this

answer text
We are committed to ensuring staff who engage with claimants identify and signpost them to the financial support they require. We continue to work closely with the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), which is an Arm’s Length Body of DWP, to identify and maximise all the touchpoints where it may be appropriate to signpost claimants to the expert financial help they need.

We have also been working with MaPS to upskill our frontline staff to give them the confidence and skills to have those difficult and sensitive conversations with claimants regarding their finances before signposting them to the most suitable organisation. This may be for help with budgeting and money management, or with debt, as well as information on unauthorised money lenders. Customers contacting the Department’s Debt Management Team are routinely referred to this service.

To help facilitate signposting discussions with claimants, staff have access to a database of national and local support information, the District Provision Tool, which ensures that claimants can access tailored support where required.
