answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2022 answer text <p>We are supporting The Royal College of General Practitioners’ accreditation programme, to increase the accessibility to veteran specialist care in general practitioner (GP) practices. To date, there are over 1,000 veteran friendly accredited GP practices.</p><p>The Government has put in place initiatives to help with better identification of veterans through the healthcare system. An additional £94 million has been released by the Ministry of Defence for Project CORTISONE to provide the digital interface between Defence Medical Services and the National Health Service, ensuring safe and smooth transition of medical records.</p><p>The Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance seeks to improve the care the armed forces community receive from the NHS. Funding has recently been secured to appoint full-time regional leads for the seven regions and the Alliance has now accredited over 101 NHS trusts. On 19 January, the Government launched the veteran’s strategy action plan. Under the International Criminal Court Act , crimes against humanity are an offence against the law of England and Wales if committed in England or Wales or outside the United Kingdom by a United Kingdom national or resident or a person subject to UK service jurisdiction. The jurisdiction of the courts in the UK to try crimes is premised on a presumption of territoriality, unless there is express statutory provision to the contrary. It is UK Government policy that the United Kingdom should not provide a safe haven for war criminals or those who commit other serious violations of international law. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/01/2022 answer text <p>Holiday accommodation businesses are eligible for the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG) scheme provided they can evidence they are trading as a business and are listed on the business rates register. Second homeowners not trading as a business cannot claim a grant of any amount. Where a Local Authorities determines that a business is not trading they will not be eligible for a grant. This is consistent with steps announced by Government on 14 January 2022, which mean that owners of second homes who abuse a tax loophole by claiming their often-empty properties are holiday lets will be forced to pay their fair share of tax under tough new measures due to be introduced from April 2023.</p><p> </p><p>Local Authorities have the discretion to use Additional Restrictions Grants (ARG) funding to support businesses in the way that best meets local economic need, in line with the scheme guidance. Local Authorities are encouraged to focus ARG support on businesses who have been severely impacted by reduced business activity due to the spread of the Omicron variant. The guidance does not mandate specific evidence to determine if a business has been severely impacted by Omicron. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/01/2022 answer text <p>Earlier last year, the Minister for Women and Equalities set out her top LGBT policy priorities, which we are making good progress towards delivering. We have launched a public consultation on our plans to ban Conversion Therapy; we are digitising the Gender Recognition Certificate application process, having already reduced the fee, and are improving healthcare for trans people. In December 2021, we published the HIV Action Plan, whilst also announcing the end of the ban on HIV+ people joining the UK armed forces. This month we have announced an independent review into the impact of the pre-2000 ban on homosexuality in the armed forces on LGBT veterans, as part of the Veterans’ Strategy Action Plan.</p><p>We have appointed Iain Anderson as LGBT Business Champion, and the Prime Minister has appointed Lord Herbert of South Downs as Special Envoy on LGBT rights, with both an international and domestic focus. The UK will also be hosting its first global LGBT conference in June, <em>Safe To Be Me</em>, which will bring together government representatives, businesses, civil society and international parliamentarians to address the safety of LGBT people at home and abroad.</p><p>The UK Government regularly updates GOV.UK to improve the experience and accessibility of users. Over 40% of homes in England now have an EPC of C or better, up from 12% in 2009. The Panel consisted of community stakeholders, academics and police. Discussion focused on a deep-dive into the handling of disability hate crime cases. As a result, the CPS will this month circulate a bulletin to all prosecutors. This will highlight key findings, lessons and top tips arising from the review. In addition, operational guidance has been refreshed and will be launched this month. It will provide prosecutors with an updated appreciation of how disability hate crime occurs, based on the lived experience of disabled people.</p><p> </p><p>Building on this review, a refreshed communications approach is aiming to raise awareness of hate crime and in particular the confidence to report.
