answer text <p>Recognising the importance of our trading relationship with Turkey, my Rt Hon. Friend the Secretary of State for International Trade spoke with her counterpart, Minister Pekcan, soon after taking up her role. They discussed the challenge of achieving continuity of trade, in a no deal scenario, given Turkey’s customs union with the EU.</p><p> </p><p>Nevertheless they agreed that there continued to be a shared ambition for a strong future trading relationship between Turkey and the UK.</p> more like this
