answer text <p>We are planning to publish our response to the cycling offences consultation as soon as we can and have already announced that we are considering bringing forward legislation to introduce new offences around dangerous cycling. answer text <p>The Sustainable Warmth strategy, published in February 2021, sets out government’s approach to tackling fuel poverty in England. It is accessible <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/sustainable-warmth-protecting-vulnerable-households-in-england" target="_blank">here</a>.</p><p> </p><p>Energy efficiency improvements remain the best way to tackle fuel poverty in the long term. Support for low income and vulnerable households is available through schemes such as the Local Authority Delivery Scheme and the Energy Company Obligation.</p><p> </p><p>Financial support to help toward energy bills is available through the Warm Home Discount, Cold Weather Payment and Winter Fuel Payment.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, a new package of support to help households with their energy bills was announced on the 3<sup>rd</sup> February which includes a £200 discount on household energy bills this Autumn for domestic electricity customers in Great Britain; a £150 non-repayable rebate on Council Tax bills for all households in Council Tax Bands A-D in England; and an additional £144 million of discretionary funding for Local Authorities to support households who are not eligible for the Council Tax rebate.</p>

answer text <p>The government have received a draft report of Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) on roads policing. The date for publication will be decided by HMICFRS.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The HMICFRS consultation on its proposals for a new framework for future PEEL inspections is currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We will respond to these proposals as and when the consultation process is resumed.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) are responsible for the totality of policing within their force area. This includes ensuring the Chief Constable delivers an effective and efficient police service to meet the priorities of the local community. PCCs are required to set out their strategic objectives in a Police and Crime Plan following consultation with the public and local partners.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In 2017 the Government introduced ground-breaking regulations requiring large employers to publish specific gender pay gap data.</p><p>Employers have to report their gender pay gap by the deadline, 30 March for the public sector and 4 April for the private and voluntary sector. This is not optional; it is the law.</p><p>Employers who fail to report on time or publish inaccurate data will be in breach of the regulations. They risk facing legal action from the Equality and Human Rights Commission, which has the power to take enforcement action against employers breaching the regulations. This could ultimately lead to court orders and fines.</p> more like this
