answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/03/2023 answer text <p>The Government engages with a range of stakeholders on issues relating to the Local Housing Allowance, homelessness and temporary accommodation.</p><p>In April 2020, in response to the pandemic, Local Housing Allowance rates were raised to the 30th percentile of market rates. As a result of this increase, over 1.5 million households gained just over £600 per year on average in 2020/21. We have maintained rates at this elevated cash level and will continue to review rates annually.</p><p>Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs) are also available from local authorities for tenants who face a shortfall in meeting their housing costs. Since 2011 the Government has provided nearly £1.6 billion in DHP funding to local authorities.</p><p>The Government is committed to preventing homelessness where possible. We have allocated £654 million through the Homelessness Prevention Grant which provides funding to enable Local Authorities to invest in prevention activities and helps meet their temporary accommodation costs. During this period, 19,766 drivers recorded as having an eyesight condition had their driving licence revoked, or their licence application refused. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/03/2023 answer text <p>In March 2022, the Department for Transport published its Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Strategy, which sets out its plans to accelerate the rollout of public EV chargepoints. The strategy states that the Government expects that approximately 300,000 public chargepoints will be installed across the UK by 2030.</p><p> </p><p>The Department monitors progress and publishes data on the installation of public chargepoints, broken down by local authority areas, on a quarterly basis. The latest data, published on 1 March 2023, shows that public charging devices have more than tripled in four years from 10,300 devices in January 2019 to over 38,700. This includes more than 7,400 rapid devices. Recent discussions have seen the department make considerable progress towards concluding talks, aiming to finish them at the earliest opportunity. The Government is working to ensure that the UK joins on terms that work for British business and are in line with domestic priorities.</p><p>Joining CPTPP will offer significant benefits to exporters.
