answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/02/2020 answer text <p>Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (the “Fire Safety Order”), responsible persons for hotels must ensure that they have completed a fire risk assessment and that it is regularly reviewed to ensure that the fire safety measures in place remain appropriate and are being adequately maintained. This includes assessing and where appropriate, taking the necessary steps to reduce the risk on the external walls which may include cladding.</p><p>All hotels that have confirmed ACM cladding have been visited by the local fire and rescue service to ensure that the appropriate risk mitigation measures are in place. Hotels will have a range of comprehensive fire safety measures which may include a 24-hour concierge, simultaneous fire evacuation strategy and a fully functioning alarm system. The Flood Recovery Framework was swiftly activated, to ensure that local authorities could implement local recovery schemes. In partnership with BEIS, the framework provides funding for local authorities to help affected residents and businesses to recover from the flooding, as well as reimbursements to local authorities for providing 100% council tax and business rates to these affected properties.</p><p>The Government also committed to matching up to £1 million of funds raised by the South Yorkshire Flood Disaster Relief Appeal Fund. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/02/2020 answer text <p>While there are no current plans to require those purchasing drones to be informed specifically of the risk drones pose to nesting birds and their feeding grounds, the Government has been working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and other agencies to encourage the responsible use of drones. For example, the CAA launched a website, www.dronesafe.co.uk, which serves to raise awareness of the current rules of the air and the “drone and model aircraft code” sets these out in a clear and simple way.</p><p>The CAA has also developed a competency test, which is compulsory for remote pilots flying unmanned aircraft, including drones, from 250g up to 20kg. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/02/2020 answer text <p>The Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments for their disabled users and customers so that they are not disadvantaged compared with people who are not disabled. This requirement includes permitting access to assistance dogs where reasonable. If a person meets the Act’s definition of disability and has an emotional support animal to help them manage that disability, they should ask the service provider to consider allowing access to the animal.</p><p>Other than in relation to taxis, the Equality Act does not refer to assistance dogs or any other specific form of support or facility for disabled people, because each reasonable adjustment must be considered on its merits and in the context of the particular circumstances of the case. This upholds the confidentiality of the candidate and is consistent with disability exemptions in place for elections across the UK, including UK Parliamentary general elections.</p><p>A candidate will need to make an assessment as to whether their disability meets the definition of disability provided in the 2020 Order. This uses the definition of disability contained within the 2010 Equality Act. The review began in March 2019.</p><p> </p><p>Specifically, the Law Commission have been asked to consider the current range of offences and aggravating factors in sentencing, and to make recommendations on the most appropriate models to ensure that the criminal law provides consistent and effective protection from conduct motivated by hatred towards protected groups or characteristics. The review will also take account of the existing range of protected characteristics, identifying any gaps in the scope of protection currently offered under the law and making recommendations to promote a consistent approach.</p><p> </p><p>The Law Commission plan to issue a consultation on this matter in early 2020.
