answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/06/2016 answer text <p>The legislation covering rickshaws, or pedicabs, is different across England.</p><p> </p><p>In London they are classified as stage coaches, and therefore are exempted from taxi licensing and do not need a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
