Palliative and end of life care, including hospice care, is commissioned locally by integrated care boards (ICBs) in response to the needs of its local population. Any assessment would therefore be made at a local level.</p><p>At a national level, NHS England have released £1.5 billion additional funding to ICBs to provide support for inflation, with ICBs deciding how best to distribute this funding within its system. This is in addition to the support provided by Government through the Energy Bill Relief Scheme and the new Energy Bill Discount Scheme which will run from April 2023 until March 2024 and continue to provide a discount to eligible non-domestic customers, including hospices.</p> answering member printed Lord Markham question first answered 15/02/2023 13:20:12 answering member 4948 label Biography information for Lord Markham

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2022 answer text <p>At Autumn Budget 2021, the Government announced that it will continue to explore the arguments for and against an Online Sales Tax (OST). No decisions on whether to proceed with an OST have yet been made. If implemented, the revenue from an OST would be used to provide business rates relief for in-store retail. The consultation will launch shortly.</p><p> </p><p>The Government would welcome views and evidence from a range of stakeholders, including small businesses and booksellers. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2020 answer text <p>The public consultation, <em>A new legal framework for abortion services in Northern Ireland</em>, provided an opportunity for people and organisations in Northern Ireland to contribute their views on how the Government could best deliver on its statutory duty under section 9 of the Northern Ireland (Executive Formation etc.) Act 2019 in implementing the CEDAW Report recommendations. <br> <br> The Government engaged with a wide range of stakeholders who reached out seeking further discussions during the consultation process. However, the consultation process did not collect personal data that would identify a respondent as a person with a disability.
