answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2023 answer text <p>A free trade agreement with India offers the opportunity to deepen our already strong trade relationship, worth £34 billion in the year to end Q3 2022.</p><p> </p><p>We seek a forward-looking FTA which includes a solid market access offer that can boost firms like Irish whiskey exporters, as well as easing red tape for services and ensuring greater legal certainty for investment.</p><p> </p><p>On 10 February 2023, the seventh round of UK-India FTA concluded. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2023 answer text <p>The Government has put in place enhanced scrutiny arrangements for free trade agreements, going beyond the statutory requirements.</p><p> </p><p>We have provided extensive information to Parliament, including our strategic approach and regular updates following each of the six rounds of negotiations so far.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, Ministers regularly meet with the International Trade Select Committee and International Agreements Select Committees.</p><p> </p><p>The UK-India Free Trade Agreement will be subject to the usual procedures under the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act.
