We are continuing to negotiate with India to secure a comprehensive and ambitious trade deal. The thirteenth round of negotiations began on 18 September. Talks are now focused on complex issues including goods, services, and investment. We are working at pace, but we are not committing ourselves to a deadline. The Secretary of State will only sign when we have a deal that is fair and in the best interests of the British people and the economy.
