answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/04/2022 answer text <p>The Government has no plans to extend its Ukraine humanitarian visas to include temporary places for students or academics.</p><p>For Ukrainians wishing to come to the UK to escape the Russian invasion, the Government has opened the Ukraine Family Scheme for those with existing family ties to the UK, and the Homes for Ukraine Scheme for those who do not. To assist in the support and integration LAs are being given £10500 per annum to ensure that this care is provided and this will go towards associated costs of schools and primary care needs. Separate to this is an offer of £350 per household to assist in the interim period whilst beneficiaries find work and housing to facilitate their new lives in the UK.</p><p>There is no limit on the number of Ukrainian people who the UK will accept under its current schemes. We are providing £10,500 per person to local authorities to enable them to provide much wider support to families to rebuild their lives and fully integrate into our communities. Ukrainian guests will be able to access benefits, healthcare, employment, and other support.
