which shows the number of defendants prosecuted for, or convicted of, the offence
of rape. However, management information is held showing the number of defendants
by prosecution outcome, flagged as involving offences of rape since 1<sup>st</sup>
January 2010 to the end of September 2022 by quarter. The tables below show the number
