<p>Guidance for Local Authorities on idling enforcement was last issued in 2002. This is when the relevant regulations, the Road Traffic (Vehicle Emissions) (Fixed Penalty) (England) Regulations 2002), were enacted. This guidance is currently being revised by the Department and will be reissued to Local Authorities in the coming months.</p>
