answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/12/2021 answer text <p>As referenced in the Net Zero Strategy, the Government has committed to introducing a Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Mandate, setting targets for a percentage of manufacturers’ new car and van sales to be zero emission each year, from 2024.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is currently analysing responses to the consultation, and will publish a full Government response in due course.</p><p> </p><p>Following publication of the Government’s response to the consultation, we will work to bring forward specific proposals. question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what plans he has to allocate funding to small and medium-sized enterprises to meet the (a) cost of replacing commercial vehicles that are no longer compliant with and (b) other costs arising from the implementation of Clean Air Zones.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/05/2018 answer text <p>In July 2017, the Government published the UK Plan for tackling roadside nitrogen dioxide concentrations and announced a £255 million Implementation Fund for 28 local councils to accelerate their air quality plans in order to achieve compliance with legal NO<sub>2</sub> limits as soon as possible.
